Flat Stanley’s Weekend at Chloe G’s
On Friday I got to go home with Chloe G. I haven’t been home with a girl for a while so I was pretty excited, I might even get a bath. Girls do smell better and they don’t snore as much!
After school we went for a visit to my old friend Conor’s house. There were other kids there from our class, like Dylan and Sean, and I also made some new friends. We stayed and had fish and chips for dinner, Yum Yum.
Chloe was pretty tired the next day so we had a nice relaxing time at home. I helped Chloe do some of her chores, including dusting. This made me sneeze! AaaChoo. We hung out at home, watched a movie and played with her cats.
On Sunday morning Chloe’s mum woke me up really early and took me down to the shed so I could help milk the cows. I got to go around and around the platform with the cows, it was fun, but I got a bit dizzy. I even got to see the sun come up.
At lunch time we got to go to Chloe’s little cousin, Jacob’s, 3rd birthday party. Wow, there was so much yummy food and lollies and an awesome train birthday cake.
After the party we had to go to the supermarket. I rode in the trolley with Chloe and at one stage I fell out and ended up in a box full of Kumara. I didn’t mind so much because it is my favourite vegetable.
Back at home I got to have a wonderful bubble bath and get nice and clean ready for school tomorrow. I’ve really enjoyed my weekend with Chloe and her family.
