Flat Stanley goes to Liam's

Flat Stanley goes to Liam’s

On Friday I was so excited to be going to Liam’s house. It was such a great night because I helped Liam build the biggest castle that I had ever seen. It was 2 stories high, had long tunnels and secret cubbyholes. It was such a lot of hard work to help Liam carry all the boxes from one to another. Boy was it a load of fun. It was late when Liam’s mum got home from netball that night. Once his sisters got a hold of me I was thrown in the air, taught how to do the helicopter spin and even played tug-of-war with. After a hectic night of playing with Liam and his sisters it was time for bed. My little legs were tired after climbing Liam’s bunk ladder and I fell sleep as soon as my head hit the pillow.
We had to get up early on Saturday because Liam and his older sister, Amelia, had soccer. It was really cool to meet Liam’s nana and papa at soccer. It was even better when I smelt hot chips and cakes that were in his nana’s bag. I dived in to have a chip and before I knew it I had eaten the whole lot. I had a really sore tummy that day. We lay watching movies as it was wet and cold or the rest of the weekend.
Liam told me that he is moving soon so I told him not to worry and that I will look after all of his friends for him. Tea on Sunday night was fish and chips; it was a treat for helping Liam’s mum with all her packing.
